Down on the Farm

The school year has ended and the students have all gone home for the summer. Before finishing their year together,  Alex’s team had an overnight getaway at one of the teammates’ family farm. We got to go, and Im so glad we did.

Little girl spent the whole time relishing in being “just like Laura!”

We had no idea hay bales were such fun! We're big fans now. I will honestly never look at a hay bale the same way again (and we see plenty of them out here!) I believe I will always remember the joy they brought my children.

Thats Liz, whose family owns the farm.

Joshua loved the farm too and did some really impressive jumps on the hay bales. And he only fell off once :)

Funny boy. Beating down a tree stump with a stick... because... why not?

A tire swing is such a happy thing.

We had such a good time. It was just so much goodness- the fresh air, the beautiful landscape,  the sunshine,  the simple fun. It was a real grace.

I’m linking up today with Auntie Leila for {pretty, happy, funny, real} and Pam for Project Snapshot.
